Website privacy

Privacy notice.

This notice describes the limited information practices of the public Acropolis Analytics Research Institute website.

Effective date: July 30, 2026

Information collected by this website

This website does not currently use an inquiry form, participant survey, user accounts, advertising trackers, or institute-operated analytics. Pages marked “In development” or “Not recruiting” are informational and do not accept or store responses or registrations. Acropolis does not intentionally collect personal information simply because you browse these pages.

The site is hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information needed to provide and secure the service under its own terms and privacy practices.

Email inquiries

If you contact Acropolis by email, the institute receives the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, organization, and message. That information may be used to respond, evaluate fit, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations.

Do not send protected health information, personal records, credentials, confidential data, or restricted files in an initial email.

Research participation and surveys

Before any public survey opens, its project page will identify the study purpose, eligibility, expected time, information requested, repeat-participation control, service providers, retention, access, intended uses, public reporting, and contact information. Study-specific consent and privacy information will supplement this website notice.

Raw survey responses, repeat-participation verification records, and volunteer contact information will not be posted in the Research Outputs library. Public releases will be reviewed and normally limited to aggregate or otherwise approved outputs.

A future survey may use a separate secure collection service. No survey service is active on the current participation pages, and this notice and the applicable project page will be updated before one is activated.

External links

Future reports, publications, datasets, or citations may link to third-party websites. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies, not this notice.

Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated if the website begins using a contact form, analytics, mailing list, accounts, or another service that changes how information is collected or processed. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
